A substantial £20,000 reward has been announced for details concerning the killing of a man whose body was discovered on a sidewalk wrapped in a sheet.
On July 23, in Ilford, east London, the police responded to a man’s body found on Walton Road. The victim, identified as 56-year-old Derrick Jones, had sustained some injuries. Authorities are yet to determine the cause of his death, although it is known that he was with friends at a location in Warrior Square the day before.
The Metropolitan Police has now put up a reward of up to £20,000 for information leading to the apprehension of those responsible for Derrick’s death. Detective Sergeant Wes Hawkins, in charge of the investigation, stated that they are seeking new information from the public to progress the case.
