“£3 Million in Unclaimed Lottery Prizes – Are You a Winner?”

Date:

National Lottery players are being urged to double-check their tickets as there are six unclaimed winning prizes totaling over £3 million. Recently, a lucky Lotto winner in Bexley, South East London missed out on a £10 million windfall as the deadline to claim the prize expired. Lottery officials are now calling on all other winners to step forward to avoid a similar fate.

Unclaimed prizes from various National Lottery draws can be found in South Gloucestershire, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, Powys, Watford, Hartlepool, and Wolverhampton. It is crucial for ticket holders to review their tickets promptly.

Participants have precisely 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize for all National Lottery draws. In case a ticket is lost but a win is believed to have occurred, a written claim must be submitted to Allwyn, the National Lottery operator, within 30 days of the draw. Failure to claim within the specified period will result in the prize money, along with any accrued interest, being allocated to support community projects and charitable causes funded by the National Lottery across the UK.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Adviser at Allwyn, emphasized the importance of checking tickets, especially for those in the Wolverhampton area who purchased tickets for the 27th March draw. Carter urged individuals to search thoroughly in various places like clothing pockets, bags, wallets, or car glove compartments to ensure no prize goes unclaimed. The goal is to reunite the rightful winner with their life-changing prize.
