“Women Dine and Dash: £300 Steak and Cocktail Tab Unpaid”

Date:

A quartet of women along with their children enjoyed a meal consisting of £300 worth of steaks and cocktails at a dining establishment in Norwich. Subsequently, they left without settling the bill.

The restaurant, Cheers, which recently opened a branch in Surrey St, Norwich, following successful operations in Thetford and Bury St Edmunds, prides itself on offering a unique dining experience. Their website emphasizes their commitment to providing exceptional service and high-quality food to ensure every guest has a memorable visit.

Despite receiving glowing reviews and positive feedback from customers, the eatery faced an unfortunate incident when four women absconded without paying for their meal, which included steaks and shots of Baileys, totaling over £130 and £71.50, respectively.

Owner Andrea Marinho expressed disappointment over the incident, highlighting the challenges faced by new businesses in attracting customers and maintaining operations. The incident was reported to the authorities, with Norfolk Police releasing CCTV images of the culprits and appealing for information to aid in the investigation.

The incident has prompted concerns about accountability and setting a responsible example for children. The restaurant owner emphasized the need to address such behavior to prevent future occurrences and uphold the integrity of the establishment.
