“Virginia Giuffre’s Ex Describes Distressing Call at 17”

Date:

Virginia Giuffre’s former partner recounted a distressing phone call he received from her at the age of 17, shortly after she alleged having a sexual encounter with Prince Andrew in London. Tony Figueroa expressed how visibly shaken Virginia was during the call, both fearing for her safety amidst conspiracy theories surrounding Princess Diana’s death.

Describing the conversation from March 2001, Figueroa emphasized the fear in Virginia’s voice and their mutual concern that she might be in danger. Despite Prince Andrew’s consistent denial of any misconduct, recent disclosures led to him relinquishing his royal titles due to discrepancies regarding his association with Jeffrey Epstein.

Reflecting on the past, Figueroa remembered Virginia disclosing her encounter with Andrew, emphasizing her reluctance. As Virginia’s high school sweetheart, he witnessed her transition from a lively young girl to a victim of Epstein’s exploitation, as detailed in her posthumous memoir, “Nobody’s Girl.”

Tragically, Virginia took her own life at 41, following a car accident. Figueroa recounted accompanying Virginia to Epstein’s Palm Beach residence, where unwittingly, he facilitated the recruitment of girls for Epstein in exchange for money, leading to profound guilt and regret.

Financial support from Epstein enabled their shared lifestyle, but Virginia’s mental health deteriorated, leading her to substance abuse. Eventually, she confided in Figueroa about her harrowing experiences. Despite his efforts to encourage her to leave, Virginia felt trapped and frightened, culminating in Maxwell and Epstein’s disturbing proposal for her to bear their child.

Rejecting the proposal, Virginia received support from Epstein for massage training in Thailand. Their communication dwindled over time, and Virginia later settled in Australia with her husband, Robert Giuffre, before their separation.

Figueroa urged Prince Andrew to acknowledge his role in Virginia’s tragic fate and disputed the authenticity of a photo showing Andrew with Virginia, recalling the incident where Virginia obtained the picture near their residence in Palm Beach. Expressing doubt about Andrew facing consequences, Figueroa expressed skepticism about the prince testifying before the US Congress or facing legal repercussions.
