Greggs has officially announced the highly anticipated return of its Festive Bake, with the Christmas menu set to hit stores on Thursday, November 6. The Festive Bake is a delicious pastry filled with chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, and topped with a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.
In addition to the Festive Bake, Greggs will also reintroduce the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) nationwide, featuring Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing, vegan bacon, and cranberry and red onion sauce.
The Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette, described as a portable Christmas dinner, will be on the menu, packed with chicken, stuffing, bacon, melted cheddar, cranberry relish, and onion gravy. The Hot Festive Flatbread, containing sage and onion chicken mayo, bacon, and cranberry relish, will also make a comeback.
For those with a sweet tooth, festive treats like the Christmas Cake Slice, Gingerbread Muffin, Chocolate & Hazelnut Doughnut, and Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads will be available. To warm up during the winter season, Greggs will offer festive hot drinks including Mint Mocha, Mint Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte, available hot or over ice.
On a different note, Greggs has adjusted the prices of some menu items due to increased costs. The two-part breakfast deal now costs £3.15, up from £2.95, and the three-part breakfast deal, which includes a side, is now priced at £4.15, up from £3.95. Additionally, prices of certain baked goods like the empire biscuit have increased by 5p. Earlier this year, Greggs raised the price of its sausage roll by 5p to £1.30.
Overall, the return of the Festive Bake and other festive offerings along with new hot drinks provide customers with a variety of options to enjoy during the holiday season at Greggs.
