Sky has made a surprising announcement by bringing back its beloved channel, Sky One, which was closed in 2021. The relaunch of Sky One will feature a lineup of comedy and entertainment programs, including new shows like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.
Additionally, fan-favorite programs such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted will be accessible on channel 106. Sky One will also debut Saturday Night Live UK later this year, replacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max to offer a consolidated entertainment experience for viewers.
Carli Kerr, the Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed the company’s aim to provide a seamless viewing experience for Sky TV customers. The channel will showcase a mix of new Sky Originals, returning favorites, and exclusive content like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Rob & Romesh Vs.
Viewers can tune in to Sky One on channel 106 starting on Tuesday, February 24. The channel update coincides with Sky’s upcoming major event, as hinted by the company’s invitation to Mirror Online, teasing “Big things are coming to Sky TV. Join us to find out more.”
The anticipation surrounding this event is high, with speculation mounting about potential surprises. Mirror Online will cover the event live from London’s West End, starting at around 10am on February 11.
