Luke Littler humorously mentioned that he might consider entering the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial £50 million offer was presented, despite his current reservations after watching the show. The 18-year-old darts prodigy has been closely following this season’s episodes to support his friend Angry Ginge, whose participation sparked speculation about Littler joining the show.
When asked about the possibility of following in Ginge’s footsteps, Littler responded, “Perhaps, if the price is right. I could be persuaded for a brief stint.” However, he recently elaborated on the specific amount needed to sway his decision, indicating a hesitancy to join the show alongside Ant and Dec.
In a recent talkSPORT interview, Littler admitted, “Although I previously mentioned being open to it for the right compensation, witnessing the challenges on the show has deterred me. It’s not something I can see myself doing.” When questioned about a hypothetical £10 million offer, Littler declined, but reconsidered when the figure was raised to an impressive £50 million.
Expressing his aversion to the jungle environment, Littler remarked, “The thought of facing snakes and similar challenges is daunting.” He playfully added, “Who knows, I might surprise everyone by showing up… Nah, just kidding!”
While Angry Ginge prepares for upcoming trials, Littler gears up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship commencing next month at Ally Pally. As the reigning world champion and current world No 1 in darts, Littler aims to replicate Gary Anderson’s feat by securing back-to-back victories. His campaign starts with a match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
