In a captivating video, a brave bystander was seen traversing a frozen lake to rescue a man who had plunged into the icy water while trying to save his dog. The incident occurred at Connaught Water in Epping Forest, Essex, where plummeting temperatures had frozen the lake.
The dog had ventured onto the ice, prompting its owner to attempt a rescue. Unfortunately, both the dog owner and the heroic bystander fell into the freezing water during the rescue attempt. Despite the thin ice breaking, they managed to reach safety with the help of paramedics.
