Station personnel tried to intervene at the Wetherspoons location, with a woman seen attempting to separate some of the men involved, leading to two individuals ending up on the floor. The British Transport Police were summoned, confirming the arrest of nine men the next day. A police spokesperson stated that the arrests were made in connection with the reported fight at Victoria railway station.
