The daughter of a cannibal has shared her enduring love for her father, despite his heinous act of consuming her “beautiful” stepmother. Jamie-Lee Arrow described her father’s home as resembling a scene from a horror film, reflecting on her upbringing as the offspring of “The Skara Cannibal.”
In 2010, Jamie-Lee’s father, Isakin Drabbad, committed the gruesome act of killing his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, and consuming parts of her body. Drabbad was convicted of murder and admitted to a mental health facility in 2011, later transitioning to outpatient status in 2020 with a residence in Sweden.
Recalling the deteriorating relationship between her father and his girlfriend, Jamie-Lee revealed that Helle had forewarned her about Drabbad’s intentions to harm her. Amidst a violent altercation lasting over 24 hours, culminating in Helle’s tragic demise, Jamie-Lee recounted the distressing events that unfolded in their home.
On November 12, 2010, Drabbad fatally attacked Helle, gruesomely mutilating her body and cooking parts of her flesh. Learning of Helle’s death, Jamie-Lee initially questioned her mother about her father’s involvement, later receiving the full account directly from Drabbad himself.
The chilling murder case involving Isakin Drabbad became infamous in Sweden, with Jamie-Lee bravely sharing her experiences in a documentary. She described a childhood filled with disturbing elements, including her father’s fascination with dark themes and his unsettling practices like creating macabre voodoo dolls.
Despite the haunting past, Jamie-Lee expressed her unwavering love for her father, emphasizing the bond between parent and child. She conveyed her commitment to providing her own children with a safe and loving environment, shielding them from any darkness she had encountered in her upbringing.
