The spokesperson revealed, “The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s office is examining a suspicious item in the South Terminal area of MIA. Consequently, the TSA checkpoints for concourses G, H, and J and their adjacent regions were evacuated and are presently shut. Travelers planning to drive to MIA tonight are advised to allocate extra time for their journey.”
