Apple has introduced a new MacBook called the MacBook Neo, offering a more affordable option for consumers. Priced at £599, the Neo is significantly cheaper than the latest M5-powered MacBook Air, saving buyers £500.
Despite its lower price, the MacBook Neo maintains a premium look and feel with features like a sleek aluminium design, a vibrant 13-inch Liquid Retina display, a long-lasting 16-hour battery life, and a comfortable keyboard suitable for daily tasks. Buyers can select from four stylish colors: Silver, Citrus, Indigo, and Blush.
To keep costs down, Apple has included the A18 Pro chip in the Neo, a processor commonly found in the company’s smartphones. This setup allows the laptop to handle tasks such as web browsing, video editing, photo retouching, and streaming content effectively.
Sky is offering a deal on the MacBook Neo, allowing customers to pay £12.50 per month on a 48-month contract, which includes a SIM card with 100MB of free data. The total cost over the contract period amounts to £624, slightly more than buying the laptop outright.
The £12.50 monthly price applies to the 256GB model of the MacBook Neo, which does not feature a Touch ID fingerprint scanner on the keyboard. For the 512GB version with Touch ID, the monthly cost is £15.
Apart from Sky, the MacBook Neo is also available through other major retailers like Argos, Currys, and Amazon for interested buyers.
