Jet2 has introduced a new flight route to a picturesque island known for its historic streets, quaint villages, and unspoiled beaches, providing a relaxed atmosphere away from bustling crowds. The airline has expanded its summer 2027 offerings from London Gatwick by launching a fresh route to the stunning Greek island of Lesvos, also referred to as Lesbos, located in the northeastern Aegean Sea. Lesvos boasts crystal-clear waters, pristine expansive beaches, natural hot springs, lush forests, and striking volcanic scenery.
Being the third-largest island in Greece and home to its capital, Mytilini, Lesvos is steeped in history, featuring charming medieval alleys, traditional Mediterranean settlements, and captivating architecture. The island is famous for its ouzo, a licorice-flavored spirit, and its vast olive groves, with over 11 million trees scattered across its landscape.
The new Jet2 service to Lesvos will operate weekly on Sundays from May 2 to October 10, 2027, with ticket prices starting from £123. Travelers can now book flights to this Greek paradise, where summer temperatures reach up to 30°C. Meanwhile, Jet2 has announced a significant sale on 35 sun-soaked destinations, including Lesvos, for holidaymakers flying from London Gatwick in the upcoming summer season.
This exclusive route to Lesvos and the summer sale come ahead of Jet2’s inaugural flights and holiday packages from London Gatwick on March 26, aiming to provide passengers with more flexibility for their vacation plans.
