“Teens Injured in Cliff Plunge at Berowra Valley NP”

Two teenagers were swiftly transported to a medical facility after plunging from a cliff within a national park. The incident occurred at Berowra Valley National Park in Cherrybrook around 5:15 pm on Friday, January 30.

Upon the emergency services’ arrival, it was revealed that a 17-year-old boy had sustained multiple injuries from the fall, while a 16-year-old girl required treatment from NSW Ambulance paramedics after also falling from the cliff.

Authorities from the New South Wales Police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact sequence of events. A police spokesperson stated that efforts are ongoing following the injuries sustained by the teens who fell 10 meters over a cliff in the north-western region of Sydney.

Medical personnel, including a team airlifted by a TOLL helicopter, worked diligently to stabilize the critically injured boy before transporting him via road ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital. The girl, who fell as well, was also attended to by paramedics and subsequently taken to the same hospital, with her condition reported as stable.

Additionally, a 47-year-old woman was treated at the scene for shock. Police from The Hills Police Area Command, along with assistance from paramedics and members of the Rural Fire Service, are actively involved in the ongoing operation.
