Tributes are flowing in for a young doctor described as “kind and helpful” who tragically passed away on Wednesday.
Dr. Grace Molloy, a resident of Riddlesford in Bray, was serving as an intern at University Hospital Galway in Galway, Ireland. Her untimely demise occurred at Beaumont Hospital following an accident, as announced on RIP.ie.
According to the notice, Dr. Molloy will be deeply missed by her mother Mary (McHugh), brother Shane, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
Having graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) last summer with a Bachelor of Medicine, Dr. Molloy began her internship at University Hospital Galway (UHG) in June. She left a lasting impact on her patients and coworkers, as reported by GalwayBeo.
Colleagues at UHG fondly remember Dr. Molloy as a “beautiful young lady, inside and out.” They shared heartfelt messages online, expressing sorrow over her passing and highlighting her kindness, helpfulness, and friendly nature.
The funeral Mass for Dr. Molloy is scheduled for 10.30am on Thursday, January 29, at the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones. Her family has suggested making donations, if desired, to Beaumont Hospital Foundation and Organ Donation Ireland.
