Based on their findings, here are the top spring beaches in England:

Brancaster Beach in North Norfolk boasts an expansive and stunning sandy shoreline, perfect for long walks, popular among dog owners and birdwatchers. Visitors can enjoy the miles of golden sand, dunes, and fresh coastal air, along with activities like kite flying and beach games.

West Wittering is a highly sought-after beach known for its clean sands, calm waters, and an average of 7.4 hours of daily spring sunshine. It’s an ideal spot for paddling, picnics, and early-season sunbathing.

Porthcurno Beach in Cornwall offers turquoise waters, soft white sand, and an average temperature of 10°C on sunny days. The beach is surrounded by towering cliffs, giving it a Mediterranean or Caribbean ambiance. Visitors can also explore the nearby Minack open-air theatre for a cultural experience.

Camber Sands in East Sussex stands out with its sandy coastline and unique dune system. Families can enjoy activities like kite surfing, dog walking, and sunbathing, with the added convenience of cozy pubs and cafes in the nearby village.

Kimmeridge Bay, part of the Jurassic Coast, is a favorite among nature enthusiasts for its rock pools and fossil-hunting opportunities. The calm waters allow for activities like snorkeling and paddleboarding, providing a fun seaside experience.

Thornwick Bay in East Yorkshire, framed by dramatic cliffs at Flamborough Head, offers 7.7 hours of daily spring sunshine. Visitors can indulge in coastal hikes, photography sessions, and explore hidden caves during low tide, while admiring seabirds along the cliffs.

Pentle Bay on the island of Tresco boasts the highest spring temperature on the list at 10.3°C, crystal-clear waters, powdery white sand, and a serene atmosphere ideal for swimming, away from the crowds.

Druridge Bay Beach ranks third with the highest Google review rating among the top beaches, scoring 4.9 out of 5. Stretching seven miles along a picturesque coastline, it’s a popular spot for birdwatchers and offers opportunities to spot wildlife like roe deer and red squirrels.

Southwold Beach stands out for its environmentally friendly practices and the highest average daily spring sunshine hours among the top 10 beaches. Visitors can enjoy a range of activities from paddling along the River Blyth to playing arcade games and savoring delicious food at the local eateries.

At the top spot is Cuckmere Haven, receiving an average of 7.8 hours of daily spring sunshine and only 52mm of rainfall per month. This beach offers breathtaking views of the Seven Sisters Cliffs, scenic walks along the Cuckmere River, and the charm of the coastguard cottages. Visitors can explore the area on foot, bicycle, or canoe, making it a versatile destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
