Trump’s declaration of potentially implementing 10% tariffs on countries like the UK for opposing his Greenland acquisition, along with a warning of raising levies on NATO allies to 25% if a Greenland deal isn’t reached by June 1, has raised concerns among US allies.
These actions have the potential to create a divide among diplomatic partners who have historically stood together against Russia. Nevertheless, commentators in Moscow appear to be enjoying the disruption in NATO and Europe following Trump’s statements.
