“Trump Sets Deadline for Iran’s Power Plant Actions”

Date:

Donald Trump has announced a deadline for taking action against Iran’s power plants if no agreement is reached. He has granted an extension to Iran until April 6 to open the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has threatened to retaliate by targeting power plants in neighboring countries and disrupting vital water sources, potentially leading to a humanitarian crisis.

In a statement on Truth Social, Trump mentioned pausing the destruction of energy plants for 10 days due to ongoing talks, contrary to reports by the media. Iranian state news denied requesting an extension and reiterated threats to close the Strait of Hormuz and target US base-hosting countries’ power plants.

Despite US-Israeli strikes on Iran’s military and government, Iran has continued launching missiles, with no signs of internal resistance. Iran aims to endure the attacks in a bid to pressure the US by controlling the Strait of Hormuz, causing global economic disruptions and surging energy prices.

Recent actions have seen Iran persist in missile strikes, prompting heightened security measures in the region. The situation remains tense as both sides engage in military actions and diplomatic negotiations.
