TikTok Artist D4vd in Custody Over Teen’s Death

Date:

A popular American musician known as D4vd has been taken into custody following the discovery of a teenage girl’s body in his Tesla vehicle.

Authorities have revealed that the TikTok personality, legally named David Anthony Burke, was apprehended in connection with the tragic demise of the missing teenager last year.

Burke became the subject of a formal inquiry by a grand jury into the suspected homicide of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez after her remains were located in his car in September.

The Los Angeles Police Department announced on Thursday that the 21-year-old is being detained without bail, with the case set to be reviewed by the District Attorney’s office on Monday for potential charges.

While the singer has chosen to remain silent regarding the case, his representatives have stated that he is actively cooperating with law enforcement during the investigation.

Official sources have confirmed that information regarding the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez has been restricted from public disclosure.

A court-issued directive has prohibited the release or publication of any specifics related to Hernandez’s passing on the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office website.

The body of Hernandez was discovered inside the trunk of D4vd’s impounded Tesla on September 8, 2025, following complaints of a noxious odor at a Hollywood tow yard.

Hailing from Lake Elsinore, California, Rivas Hernandez was last seen in April 2024.
