“United Airlines Flight Faces Tarmac Bomb Threat Delay”

Date:

Passengers on a United Airlines flight experienced an extended delay on the tarmac due to a bomb threat, as per reports. The flight, numbered 2408, was scheduled to depart from Denver en route to Washington, with its runway time set for 6:15 pm local time. However, the aircraft’s route did not proceed as planned, as depicted by FlightRadar24 data.

Reports indicate that a suspected bomb threat led to the grounding of the passengers for several hours, preventing access to overhead bins. Social media images captured emergency vehicles navigating down the runway in response to the situation. This incident follows another recent bomb scare involving a different United Airlines flight, UAL2092, which was redirected to Pittsburgh from Chicago en route to New York City.

Following a bomb threat report onboard, UA2092 landed in Pittsburgh, where 159 passengers and 6 crew members were safely evacuated. Flight updates suggest that the Denver flight is now expected to depart post 10:30 pm. United Airlines has been contacted for further details on the situation.
