A woman has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder following the demise of a man in a hotel room in Tenerife.
The deceased, identified as Russell Watts, aged 63 and hailing from Rotherham, was discovered lifeless in his accommodation at the Hotel Catalonia Punta Del Rey in the Candelaria region of the Spanish island on January 10. Authorities at South Yorkshire Police revealed that a 56-year-old Rotherham woman was apprehended on Wednesday in connection with the alleged murder and is currently under police supervision.
