Visitors can enjoy the sandy beaches, warm climate, and laid-back coastal ambiance. The local culture is vibrant, exotic, easily accessible, and budget-friendly.”
Flights from London to Agadir are priced below £100 with a flight duration of less than four hours.
Describing La Palma as a “hidden gem,” Laura noted its tranquility and lush greenery combined with volcanic terrains. She mentioned, “Ideal for stargazing enthusiasts seeking warmth and nature experiences. Travelers can hike through national parks, explore charming towns, and swim in natural pools, away from the crowds.”
There are no direct flights to La Palma; travelers need to fly to Tenerife first before taking an internal flight.
Madeira in Portugal is another option. Laura recommended the region, emphasizing, “A bit challenging to reach, not on mainland Portugal, but perfect for those seeking year-round pleasant weather. With eternal springs, dramatic cliffs, and opportunities for morning hikes and seaside dining with a view.”
Direct flights to Madeira are priced under £100 and take approximately 3 hours and 55 minutes from London.
For travelers willing to venture further, Laura recommended Antigua for its stunning beaches and turquoise waters. She highlighted, “Perfect for water sports enthusiasts, offering sailing, snorkeling, and vibrant carnivals. Ideal for those seeking warm waters, peaceful weather, rich character, and cultural experiences.”
Flights to Antigua from London require over eight hours of travel time and cost around £500.
