An elderly woman fell victim to a violent attack by a man she met on a dating app. The 85-year-old from Tula, Russia, engaged in conversation with Vyacheslav Kulakov, 33, on a dating website with hopes of finding love. However, their meeting turned tragic as a dispute arose during their date, resulting in Vyacheslav assaulting the woman before fleeing the scene.
Despite the woman managing to reach the hospital and report the assault, she tragically succumbed to her injuries. Vyacheslav was swiftly apprehended by the police, unaware of the woman’s demise. Upon learning of her death during questioning, he expressed remorse and admitted to his actions. Vyacheslav now faces charges of causing severe harm leading to death due to negligence, potentially resulting in a 15-year prison sentence.
Regrettably, this incident is not an isolated case of a tragic first date. Another heartbreaking story reported by the Daily Star recounts the demise of Mina El Houari, who perished after meeting a man online. Mina, a 25-year-old from Cadenet, France, believed she had found her ideal match through online interactions. However, their meeting in Fez, Morocco, turned fatal when the man claimed Mina suddenly collapsed and decided to bury her alive in a panic, unaware that she was still alive.
A post-mortem examination revealed that Mina, who had undiagnosed diabetes, fell into a coma before being buried and ultimately suffocated. After her family raised concerns about her disappearance, authorities discovered Mina’s tragic fate in a shallow grave at the man’s property. He has been charged with involuntary manslaughter following his confession.
