“Netanyahu: Iran’s Missile Capabilities Severely Diminished”

Date:

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, made a significant announcement regarding the ongoing conflict with Iran. Netanyahu stated that Iran’s ability to enrich uranium and produce ballistic missiles had been severely diminished. He expressed confidence in Israel’s progress, claiming that Iran had been significantly weakened, particularly in terms of its missile and drone capabilities. Netanyahu emphasized the destruction of facilities involved in producing missiles and nuclear weapons, although he did not provide any evidence to support his assertions.

Moreover, Netanyahu hinted at the possibility of a ground invasion, coinciding with reports suggesting that U.S. President Donald Trump was contemplating strategies to control or blockade Iran’s Kharg Island. Despite accusations of involving the United States in the conflict, Netanyahu denied influencing President Trump’s decisions.

In response, Iran issued threats to target global recreational and tourist sites and reaffirmed its commitment to missile development. Iran’s top military spokesperson cautioned that tourist destinations worldwide could be unsafe for those perceived as enemies of Tehran. Additionally, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, praised Iranians for their resilience amid the conflict, dismissing U.S. and Israeli attacks as futile attempts to destabilize the government.

Notably, Khamenei has not made public appearances since assuming leadership, following the death of his father in Israeli airstrikes at the conflict’s outset. Speculations suggest that he may have been injured during the attacks.
