“Authorities Use Helicopter Signal Sniffer to Find Abducted TV Personality’s Mother”

Date:

Authorities seeking the whereabouts of the abducted mother of American television personality Savannah Guthrie have deployed a helicopter-equipped “signal sniffer” to pinpoint her pacemaker’s location.

Law enforcement insiders revealed that the aerial device has been scanning vast territories in a bid to detect possible areas where Nancy Guthrie might be located. David Kennedy, the creator of the device and a former NSA hacker, explained that Nancy’s pacemaker utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy technology, emitting a faint signal that can be picked up by mobile devices.

Kennedy stated that helicopters have been flying at low altitudes near Nancy’s residence to intercept the pacemaker’s signal, which has a limited range. He mentioned, “They are systematically surveying the regions to pick up this signal, which transmits every few minutes due to the type of pacemaker she has. By capturing and triangulating this signal, authorities can pinpoint Nancy’s exact location through her pacemaker.”

The police dismissed any involvement of members of Savannah Guthrie’s family in the disappearance of her 84-year-old mother, addressing unfounded rumors circulating on social media. The Pima County Sheriff’s Office emphasized the family’s cooperation and innocence in the case, condemning baseless accusations as harmful and inaccurate.

Sheriff Chris Nanos stressed the importance of kindness and support for victims, denouncing online attacks on innocent individuals. The search for Mrs. Guthrie, who was reportedly taken from her home in the early hours of February 1, has now reached its third week without any arrests or publicly identified suspects.

According to the FBI, the suspect in question is estimated to be between 5ft 9in and 5ft 10in tall with a medium build. The agency believes the mask and backpack worn by the suspect were purchased from a Walmart store, prompting investigations at various branches to identify potential purchasers.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage from nearby Walmart outlets in their search for leads. Additionally, a glove recovered near the crime scene, matching the suspect’s gloves, is undergoing forensic analysis. Investigators have obtained a DNA profile of an unidentified male, which has been added to the FBI’s national database for potential matches.

Savannah Guthrie released a video appeal urging anyone with information on her mother’s whereabouts to come forward, expressing continued hope for her safe return. The extensive search efforts, involving hundreds of personnel, helicopters, and detection dogs, have been ongoing for two weeks since Mrs. Guthrie’s disappearance.

Despite receiving numerous tips, no arrests have been made following a search warrant execution at a property near Mrs. Guthrie’s residence. Mrs. Guthrie was last seen on January 31 after being dropped off at her home following a family gathering at her daughter Annie Guthrie’s house.

Concern arose when she did not attend church the next day, prompting her relatives to report her absence to the authorities.
