A well-known personality on YouTube, Zepa, aged 26, has passed away unexpectedly. The news of her sudden death was shared on one of her social media platforms on Monday.
A message conveyed, “I regret to inform you of this sudden news. Zepa has tragically left us. I extend her apologies for this news. The funeral services were held privately, attended only by family members.
“We are deeply thankful for the support and kindness you have shown her throughout her life.” Zepa, whose real name remains undisclosed, had amassed a significant following of over 1.4 million fans on various social media platforms.
On YouTube, she had attracted more than 600,000 subscribers with her Jirai-kei fashion content and live-streamed beverage taste trials. Originally aspiring to be a hairstylist, the star, hailing from Japan’s Kansai region, eventually pursued a law degree following her mother’s advice. The exact cause of her demise has not been disclosed, although she had previously shared her struggles with alcohol and emotional distress.
Zepa had also spoken out about family challenges and online harassment, as documented by NeedToKnow. Following the tragic news, her followers have inundated her profiles with heartfelt messages and tributes.
