Prince Andrew’s Last Hurrah: Party with Epstein in NYC

Date:

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor embarked on a farewell journey with Jeffrey Epstein that included dinners, a late-night party, and an invitation to the “Boom Boom Room” as part of his effort to sever ties with the convicted sex offender.

The former Duke of York made a trip to New York in December 2010 specifically to end his association with Epstein. In a widely publicized Newsnight interview, he stated that the visit was solely for this purpose and did not involve any social activities. Despite acknowledging staying at Epstein’s residence, he justified his actions as honorable and just. Andrew mentioned being influenced by his inclination towards honor but recent emails from the Epstein files suggest his motives were more about sustaining the social interactions. Andrew has consistently refuted any allegations linking him to Epstein’s illicit activities.

Newly uncovered emails from the US Department of Justice’s extensive document cache reveal that Andrew socialized with Epstein and other prominent individuals during his week-long stay at Epstein’s New York home. The visit was reportedly planned months in advance, with arrangements initiated in April 2010, while Epstein was under house arrest for prior criminal offenses.

The visit was scheduled from November 29 to December 7, with Epstein organizing the events through his publicist Peggy Siegal. Plans included a potential spa session and discussions about bringing swimwear for a trip south. Andrew expressed anticipation for the visit and discussions with Epstein.

Upon arriving at JFK airport and being accommodated at Epstein’s residence, Andrew and Epstein appeared geared for a night out, with invitations to the exclusive Boom Boom Room. The details of their attendance at the event remain unclear.

During the visit, Andrew and Epstein engaged in various social activities, including breakfast with businessman Andrew Farkas, a group lunch, and attending a film premiere. Epstein hosted an exclusive dinner party attended by notable figures like Woody Allen, George Stephanopoulos, and Katie Couric, although their presence does not imply any wrongdoing.

Concerns arose about Andrew’s connection with Allen due to the director’s controversial personal life issues. The visit culminated with a late-night party on December 4, followed by a morning stroll in Central Park, before Andrew’s scheduled return to the UK on December 7.

An email from Epstein’s associate at 4:03 am on December 7 confirmed Andrew’s impending departure, following a night of festivities.
