“Relatives of Ian Huntley’s Victims Plead: Save His Life for Just Punishment”

Date:

The distressed relatives of a young girl manipulated by criminal Ian Huntley are pleading with medical professionals to save his life, so he can face punishment behind bars. Huntley, a former caretaker, is currently hospitalized after a violent attack in prison. It has been revealed that he had targeted the girl before committing the heinous murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman in 2002.

As Huntley undergoes life-saving treatment for severe injuries sustained in a prison assault, the family of the victim expresses their hope for his recovery. They believe that Huntley should endure lifelong suffering in prison rather than an easy way out through death. Huntley is serving a minimum of 40 years for the notorious Soham murders that shocked the nation.

Despite his conviction for the murders, Huntley had a history of preying on women, including locking a girl in a room and making disturbing demands. Huntley’s violent past extends to assaulting a pregnant teenage girl. The victims of Huntley’s predatory behavior are not sympathetic towards him.

Huntley, who is currently in a coma due to a severe head injury from an inmate’s attack, faces a slim chance of survival. If he recovers, he will be transferred to Ashworth Hospital instead of returning to the high-security Frankland prison. Ashworth Hospital is known for its more relaxed environment compared to traditional prisons, offering various activities and amenities for patients held under the Mental Health Act.

The cost of housing individuals at Ashworth Hospital is significant, treating them as patients rather than prisoners. Once Huntley is deemed fit to leave the hospital, he will be returned to prison.
