“Flight to Vegas: Woman Duct-Taped After Poison Confession”

Date:

A woman on a flight to Las Vegas was fastened to her seat with duct tape following an unusual outburst during which she allegedly confessed to attempting to poison her father. The incident occurred after she reportedly assaulted a flight attendant.

Passengers on the Las Vegas-bound flight witnessed Ketty J. Dilone behaving erratically, shouting, and making threats towards several flight attendants on September 16, as per the United States Attorney’s Office District of Nevada.

The commotion started when Dilone boarded a connecting flight in Charlotte, North Carolina, while returning from the Dominican Republic. Crew members resorted to extreme measures, using zip ties and duct tape to restrain Dilone due to her disruptive behavior.

Despite being secured to her seat, Dilone purportedly kicked a flight attendant, causing the attendant to fall. A video shared on TikTok captured Dilone’s profane outburst, in which she complained about the restraints causing her discomfort.

In a shocking revelation, Dilone confessed to poisoning her father with “roach poison” when she was 11 years old in an attempt to kill him, referring to the toxic substance as “Tres Pasitos.” This pesticide, banned in the US, is known for its effectiveness in exterminating cockroaches and rodents.

Upon landing at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport, Dilone was apprehended by the FBI and escorted to the Henderson Detention Center. She faces charges of interfering with a flight crew and assault, with a court appearance scheduled in Las Vegas on September 18.

A preliminary hearing is slated for October 1, with potential consequences of up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
