The family of a social media influencer mourns her tragic death after a fatal car accident outside a London nightclub. Klaudia Zakrzewska, known as Klaudiaglam on Instagram, sustained critical injuries in the early hours of April 19 in Soho. Despite efforts to save her, the 32-year-old passed away on April 25.
Gabrielle Carrington, a former X Factor contestant, has been charged with the murder of the victim, initially facing charges of attempted murder which were later upgraded. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the change in charges following Klaudia’s death.
In a heart-wrenching statement to The Sun, the victim’s family shared the pain of watching Klaudia’s health deteriorate, describing the agonizing ordeal they’ve been enduring. They revealed the influencer was declared brain-dead with failing organs, highlighting the profound loss.
Expressing condolences, Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell extended sympathy to the grieving family and friends. She urged the public to refrain from speculating on social media and to avoid sharing graphic content out of respect for the victim and other affected individuals.
Carrington appeared in court and was remanded in custody for a hearing at the Old Bailey. The defendant, known for her past appearance on X Factor, faces legal proceedings related to the incident that also left another individual with life-changing injuries and a third with minor wounds.
Klaudia, originally from Poland but residing in Essex, was a popular figure on social media with a significant following. Her friend, deeply affected by the tragedy, expressed profound sorrow on Instagram, recounting the harrowing experience of witnessing the fatal collision.
A fundraising initiative initiated by Klaudia’s mother aims to support the family through this incredibly challenging time, emphasizing the deep bond shared with her daughter.
