The altercation took place on Briggate at 9:08 pm on April 28, resulting in a 34-year-old man sustaining a stab wound to his stomach. The victim was promptly transported to the hospital, and fortunately, his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Police responded to the scene, setting up a cordon outside the McDonald’s and cordoning off a pedestrian area while utilizing cameras to collect evidence. West Yorkshire Police apprehended four teenage boys, aged between 13 and 16, at the site of the assault, located at the intersection of Briggate and Boar Lane. The teenagers have been released on bail as the investigation continues.
