“Spain Allegedly Sheltering UK’s Most Wanted Criminals”

Date:

Spain is believed to be harboring a group of 12 high-priority criminals sought by the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA). These fugitives are suspected to be hiding in popular tourist areas like Tenerife, Marbella, Alicante, Malaga, and the Costa Blanca, as per the agency’s Operation Captura.

The wanted individuals range from double murderers to drug dealers and money launderers. Some may have undergone cosmetic procedures to evade capture while blending in with British vacationers in Spain. Over the past year, 56 criminals have been extradited back to the UK from Spain.

NCA’s director general of operations, Rob Jones, emphasized that Spain is not a sanctuary for fugitives, warning that they will relentlessly pursue and apprehend those on the run. These criminals pose a threat to both Spanish and UK communities, often exploiting the large British expatriate populations to remain undetected.

Among the sought-after individuals is Kevin Thomas Parle, a 45-year-old man wanted by Merseyside Police in connection with the murders of Liam Kelly and Lucy Hargreaves. Parle, standing at 6ft 4in, has been evading authorities for more than two decades and is considered one of the UK’s most dangerous fugitives.

Additionally, Francis David Parker, a member of the infamous Coggins organized crime group, is wanted for drug trafficking activities across the UK. The gang, responsible for significant drug imports, has strong ties to southern Spain.

The NCA, in collaboration with Crimestoppers, Spanish law enforcement, and UK policing, urges the public to report any information anonymously regarding the whereabouts of these fugitives. By calling the provided hotline numbers, individuals can contribute to preventing further criminal activities and ensuring justice for the victims.
