Lady Louise Windsor has secured a new position where her employer emphasizes that she is treated like any other employee, despite her royal background.
The daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh is currently working discreetly as a key organizer at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, an event cherished by her late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. This annual show takes place near Windsor Castle every May.
At 22 years old and studying at St Andrews University, Lady Louise has joined the team at the horse show, impressing colleagues as a hardworking individual without any sense of entitlement. Nick Brooks-Ward, the Director of the Royal Windsor Horse Show, praised her work ethic and contribution to the team, highlighting that she is compensated fairly and not given special treatment due to her status.
Known for her passion for horses like her grandmother, Lady Louise is actively involved in carriage driving, a skill she learned from her grandfather, the late Prince Philip. She is set to participate in the British Driving Society event at Windsor Park this weekend, showcasing her equestrian talents.
In a recent public speaking debut in a documentary honoring Prince Philip, Lady Louise shared her bond with her grandfather through their shared love for the sport. Away from the public eye, she and her brother, James, the Earl of Wessex, have been focused on their studies under the guidance of their parents, Prince Edward and Sophie.
This is not the first time Lady Louise has shown her dedication to work. In 2022, while awaiting her A-Level results and preparing for university, she worked in a garden center, drawing praise from customers for her humility and attentiveness.
