Zenith Aviation Limited Ceases Operations, 41 Jobs Lost

Date:

An airline company has terminated all its flights operations after going into administration, resulting in the loss of 41 jobs. Zenith Aviation Limited, a prominent UK chartered airline offering private jet charter, aircraft management, and engineering services, has stopped its services.

Paul Hargreaves, from Nexus Corporate Solutions Limited, was appointed as the administrator of the company. He mentioned that there is a possibility of saving or selling the business, which was primarily based in London Biggin Hill. The insolvency of the company was attributed to cash flow problems, outstanding debts, and past ownership and management issues.

Hargreaves stated, “I assumed the role of administrator for the company on May 15, 2026, due to financial difficulties caused by unpaid debts, cash flow issues, and historical ownership problems.” He also expressed regret for the company and former employees while emphasizing efforts to evaluate assets, assist employees in claiming redundancy entitlements, and explore potential rescue or acquisition options.

Zenith Aviation Limited was purchased by Opul Jets early last year but lost control of the company in December. The acquisition included the company’s UK Air Operator Certificate, aircraft fleet, and a fully accredited maintenance facility.
