A young boy’s body was discovered in a lake after he went missing while swimming at a nature reserve.
The boy, identified as Declan Sawyer, 15, reportedly encountered difficulties while entering the water at Swanholme Lakes in Lincoln on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the incident around 2:30 pm and initiated a large-scale search operation. Authorities, including police officers, an underwater search team, and specialized divers, coordinated efforts to locate the teenager following safety concerns.
Following an extensive search of the lake, officials tragically recovered Declan’s body.
