“X Factor Contestant Accused of Influencer’s Death Detained in Luxury Prison”

Date:

An individual who was a contestant on X Factor and is accused of causing the death of an influencer outside a popular night venue in London is currently detained in the same comfortable prison as Lucy Letby and Constance Marten.

Gabrielle Carrington, aged 29, allegedly struck Klaudia Zakrzewska, aged 32, with a vehicle outside a nightclub in Soho. She is closely monitored by officers at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey for her safety and that of other inmates. Carrington, who is known for her social media presence, is housed in the induction wing at the prison, where female inmates can engage in beauty classes and opera sessions.

The former X Factor finalist has been in custody and is scheduled for a court appearance. She is categorized as a standard prisoner at the facility, which accommodates 530 inmates and offers amenities such as gyms, telephone privileges, and entertainment options like TV and DVD players.

According to a source cited by The Sun, Carrington is fortunate to be placed in Bronzefield as it provides a relatively comfortable environment compared to other correctional facilities, with ample activities and better resources for female prisoners. It is mentioned that she will be transferred to Unit 4, where Letby, Constance, and others are held, for her own security. This unit typically houses more vulnerable individuals and serves as a safe space for high-profile inmates.

The source further commented that Carrington might be targeted in different units or prisons due to her fame, wealth, appearance, and online following. However, being among less likely assailants reduces the risk of attacks. Despite her status, Carrington has reportedly maintained good behavior, cooperated with staff, and avoided any diva-like behavior.

Initially charged with attempted murder, GBH with intent, ABH, and driving under the influence, Carrington’s charges were elevated to murder following Klaudia’s death six days after the incident outside the nightclub. Another individual, a 58-year-old man, sustained serious injuries in the same event. Sodexo, the private company managing Bronzefield, declined to comment on individual cases.

Among the other inmates at the facility is Constance Marten, who went missing with her partner Mark Gordon in January 2023. Their disappearance coincided with the birth of their daughter, leading to a widespread search by law enforcement. Tragically, their daughter’s remains were discovered in a bag left in an allotment shed. Following legal proceedings, Marten and Gordon were found guilty of causing their daughter’s death due to negligence.
