The display can also function as a clock, music player, or a platform for displaying helpful sticky notes. Furthermore, Xiaomi highlights that users can fully personalize the display with images of pets or individuals that transform into smart AI wallpapers.
The innovative screen offers various functionalities, including serving as a virtual pet, flight tracker, and diary. Additionally, for selfie enthusiasts, the second display acts as a mini viewfinder, enabling users to capture perfect shots with the dual-lens cameras.
Xiaomi emphasizes that the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max introduce a groundbreaking dual-screen design that combines elegant aesthetics with intuitive and intelligent features. The Dynamic Back Display enhances lifestyle and efficiency by providing customizable watch faces, AI wallpapers, virtual pets, dynamic notifications, sticky notes, and more.
In addition to the dual display, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series boasts impressive features, such as a large battery that supports rapid charging. Models in the Xiaomi 17 Pro series offer 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, which is twice as fast as the iPhone’s charging capabilities. Moreover, the phones are among the first to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, known for its enhanced performance and efficiency.
While there is no confirmed release date for the Xiaomi 17 Pro series in the UK, the phones are already available for purchase in China, with hopes of expanding to more countries soon.
