“Viral Sensation Caesar the Gorilla Finds New Home in London”

Date:

After being forced to leave his home by the local council, Caesar, the 4-foot fiberglass gorilla, faced an uncertain future. However, Caesar has now found a new residence and gained popularity as a viral sensation. Flight Centre, a long-haul travel specialist, has adopted the primate and placed him prominently at their store on South Molton Street in London.

Previously displayed at a house in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Caesar was owned by Adele Teale, a gorilla enthusiast. Following a complaint to Wakefield Council earlier this year, Adele had to relocate Caesar due to lack of planning permission. Caesar, who had never been to London before, enjoyed a scenic journey to his new home, visiting landmarks like Big Ben, Downing Street, and Piccadilly Circus.

Joe Beevis, the general manager of Flight Centre, expressed delight in providing Caesar a new home, emphasizing the importance of sustainable tourism. Caesar’s former owner, Adele Teale, shared her joy in Caesar’s new chapter in London, confident that Flight Centre would ensure his welfare. Caesar’s admirers can now visit him at Flight Centre’s store in Mayfair.

To celebrate Caesar’s arrival, Flight Centre is offering a 10% discount on selected Africa Tours with Intrepid Travel for a limited time. For more information, visit Flight Centre’s website.
