Lenovo has introduced a new contender to challenge Apple’s iPad dominance in the tablet market with the launch of the Tab Plus Gen 2. Sporting a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision visuals, this device stands out with its unique features.
The Tab Plus Gen 2 boasts a distinctive design, featuring a large circular speaker powered by JBL technology on the back, transforming it into a Bluetooth speaker for immersive audio experiences, including Dolby Atmos support. Additionally, it comes equipped with a convenient built-in kickstand that offers flexibility in viewing angles and doubles as a carry handle for enhanced portability.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and houses a sizable 10,200mAh battery with fast charging capabilities. It also offers 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded using an SD Card. Priced at £369, the Tab Plus Gen 2 presents a competitive alternative to Apple’s iPad lineup, with the base iPad starting at £429 and the upgraded Air model costing £749.
