Former President Donald Trump has shared a video created by artificial intelligence, depicting him as a doctor presenting a “treatment plan” for TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). The 90-second video features celebrities who have previously criticized the US president, such as Robert De Niro and Julia Roberts, portrayed as his TDS patients.
In the video, Trump introduces himself as “Dr. Trump” offering a remedy for TDS symptoms. The first patient, Rosie O’Donnell, claims to have suffered for over a decade but now sees improvements after following Dr. Trump’s advice. O’Donnell, who relocated to Ireland in 2024 after Trump’s reelection, has been in a longstanding feud with him.
Another virtual patient, Whoopi Goldberg, expresses skepticism about overcoming TDS until seeking treatment from Dr. Trump. Trump acknowledges the challenge of helping individuals deeply affected by the syndrome, like Robert De Niro, who admits to experiencing anger and distress, impacting those around him.
De Niro, who recently criticized Trump at a benefit event in New York, voiced strong disapproval of the president. Julia Roberts, the final celebrity featured in the video, shares concerns about the toll TDS has taken on her well-being.
Trump concludes the video by suggesting simple remedies for TDS, including avoiding fake news, prayer, and enjoying a Diet Coke for anxiety relief. The concept of TDS originated from psychiatrist Charles Krauthammer, adapting the term “Bush Derangement Syndrome” during George W. Bush’s presidency and later during Trump’s 2016 campaign.
