“Trump’s Frequent Hospital Visits Raise Eyebrows”

Date:

Donald Trump has acknowledged undergoing another medical examination, just six weeks after his previous one. The frequency of his visits to Walter Reed Military Hospital, at the age of 80, is notably high compared to most presidents who typically have an annual checkup. This recent visit marks at least the fourth time President Trump has been to the hospital since resuming office in January.

Speculation grew about Trump’s mental and physical well-being following a series of embarrassing incidents at the Nato Summit in Ankara. Observers noted his struggles climbing stairs to Air Force One and needing assistance during his arrival with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In response to the scrutiny, Trump downplayed the visit, stating that he undergoes “six-month physicals” instead of annual checkups. He humorously mentioned that he had requested another Cognitive Test, boasting that he had aced it three times. It’s important to note that this test is not an intelligence test but rather a tool used to detect early signs of dementia, with experts cautioning against frequent retakes.

Trump’s disclosure came following a contentious remark about New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman. Despite participating in a fact-checking interview for her book, Trump dismissed it as “fake news,” urging people not to purchase it.

In a statement, Trump emphasized his recent medical exam results and his performance on the cognitive test, challenging Haberman and her co-author Jonathan Swan. He criticized their book, claiming it was unreliable and urging readers to avoid it.
