“Discover M&S’s Premium Greek Yogurt with Fruit Compote”

Date:

Everyone has their favorite supermarket for their shopping needs, whether it’s for the regular groceries or just a few essential items. Personally, when it comes to my weekly shopping, I usually opt for Sainsbury’s and Aldi due to their affordable pricing.

In the past, I tended to avoid shopping at M&S because of its reputation for being costly, wanting to avoid any surprises at the checkout. However, for certain products, I believe that M&S offers exceptional quality that justifies the higher cost.

I have previously highlighted the superior quality of chicken at M&S compared to Sainsbury’s and Aldi. However, a few months back, I came across another product that caught my attention.

While browsing the dairy section for my usual Greek yogurt, I stumbled upon something intriguing.

I have a great fondness for yogurt, consuming it almost daily, especially for breakfast or as a snack. Typically, I go for the large containers of 0% fat Greek yogurt from M&S.

However, I noticed that M&S offers small pots of 0% fat Greek yogurt that come with a fruit compote – available in cherry, peach, and honey varieties.

I decided to try all three, priced at £1.20 each, and found the peach flavor to be my favorite.

These yogurts serve as a premium and healthier option compared to a Muller Corner. The larger section contains the Greek yogurt while the smaller part contains a deliciously sweet compote or honey.

With just 113 calories and over 12g of protein, these yogurts make a fantastic addition to breakfast or a satisfying snack.

Fage offers a similar product at Sainsbury’s, but it only includes honey without added fruit. Additionally, it has less protein per 100g and a higher calorie content.

Aldi also stocks small pots of 0% fat Greek yogurt in mango, raspberry, honey, and vanilla flavors; however, the taste of the Greek yogurt in those pots didn’t quite suit my preference.

If you enjoy Greek yogurt paired with fruit, particularly peaches and cherries, these pots are definitely worth trying out. I went through four of them just last week.
