A tragic incident occurred during a family holiday in Mallorca, where a three-year-old girl, Eleri Ellesmere, lost her life after being rescued from a swimming pool. The unfortunate event took place at Villa Francisca in the vicinity of Pollenca on June 24, turning what was supposed to be a blissful family vacation into a heartbreaking experience.
Following the incident, Eleri was promptly given CPR by family members before being rushed to Son Espases Hospital in Palma. Despite the relentless efforts of medical professionals to revive her, Eleri passed away the next day due to mechanical asphyxiation by drowning and respiratory failure.
