The family of a missing tourist from a Caribbean island is returning home after an extensive search. Elizabeth Waddell, a 44-year-old US citizen, disappeared on July 22 after heading to Grand Anse Beach in Grenada for a swim. Despite initial sightings, she vanished while swimming beneath the jetty, prompting her friend Heather to raise the alarm later in the day.
Elizabeth’s family, having exhausted their search efforts on the island, will be flying back to the US.
