The lifeless body of a young woman was discovered near a grammar school in Plymouth. Emergency responders were alerted to the scene on Paradise Road, near Devonport High School for Boys, on Saturday afternoon. The area was partially closed off to facilitate investigations.
Authorities from the Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that the deceased woman was in her 30s, and her family has been notified. Images captured at the scene depict police vehicles and ambulances, with road closures in effect to aid detectives in their inquiries.
A report will be compiled for the coroner to determine if an inquest is necessary to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the woman’s passing. A police spokesperson stated that the incident was reported around 12:40 pm on Saturday, August 1, when the woman’s body was found near Paradise Road in Plymouth. The police established a cordon as a precaution.
The police have ruled out any foul play in the woman’s death, and a formal report will be prepared for the HM Coroner’s review.
