A unique albino buffalo in Bangladesh, known for its striking resemblance to Donald Trump, is set to be sacrificed soon. The animal has gained popularity for its golden hair, which has led to it being dubbed ‘Donald Trump’. Weighing 1,500lb (700kg), the bull attracts numerous visitors due to its distinctive appearance at a farm near Dhaka.
The owner of the buffalo, Zia Uddin Mridha, shared that the bull was playfully named after the US president by his brother, who was impressed by its exceptional hair. Mridha mentioned that the buffalo is gentle by nature and typically remains peaceful unless provoked.
Throughout May, a large number of people have been visiting the buffalo, intrigued by its resemblance to Donald Trump. One visitor expressed amazement at the similarity in features between the animal and the president, highlighting that even a relative traveled by boat for an hour to see it.
Despite caring for the buffalo for a year, Mridha revealed that the four-year-old animal is scheduled to be slaughtered, along with around 12 million livestock, in preparation for the upcoming Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha. This festival, the second main celebration in Islam after Eid al-Fitr, is expected to begin on May 26 and last for three days.
Mridha acknowledged that he will miss the buffalo named Donald Trump but emphasized that making sacrifices is a fundamental aspect of Eid al-Adha. A visitor mentioned to a local newspaper that the buffalo’s resemblance to Donald Trump is striking, even down to the facial structure and hairstyle.
