The incident occurred as the wedding ceremony commenced, resulting in multiple people falling from a neighboring house balcony. Local news sources have indicated that six individuals are hospitalized due to the incident. The collapse happened just before the wedding procession entered, causing distress to the bride and groom. The injured parties received initial medical assistance on-site before being transported to Haldwani’s STH Hospital. Authorities have confirmed that the incident took place around 8:45 pm and the injured individuals range from four to 35 years old. The cause of the collapse remains under investigation.
