“Blood Found at Home of Missing Elderly Mother of TV Host”

Date:

Blood droplets have been discovered during the search for the elderly mother of a television host. Authorities found the blood at the woman’s residence in Tucson, Arizona, but the source of the blood remains unknown. The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, 84, is being treated as a potential crime by law enforcement, although no suspects have been apprehended.

The blood was located on the front steps of the house owned by the grandmother, whose daughter, Savannah Guthrie, is a host on the Today show. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos mentioned that thorough processing of the potential crime scene is underway to collect evidence such as blood, DNA, and fingerprints for analysis in a laboratory.

Sheriff Nanos explained that the lab results have not yet provided conclusive evidence on the case. Samples have been taken for DNA profiling to aid in identifying the situation. Nancy was last seen on a Saturday night when a family member dropped her off at her house. Concern arose when she missed a Sunday church service, prompting a search by her family and subsequent police involvement.

It was noted that Nancy’s vehicle and phone were left behind, and she requires daily medication for her health. Authorities are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for any information regarding Nancy’s whereabouts. Savannah Guthrie, on social media, requested prayers for her mother’s safe return, emphasizing the family’s belief in the power of prayer and unity during this difficult time.
