Authorities have discovered a body while searching for a 21-year-old individual who went missing on New Year’s Day.
Taylor Stewart was last seen in the Church Heights area of Cookstown in Northern Ireland at approximately 5:30 am on Thursday, January 1.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, January 7, a body was located in close proximity in an entry adjacent to a block of houses on Church Street in the town.
The police have cordoned off the area where the discovery was made, and are currently engaged in investigative activities.
Efforts to locate the missing 21-year-old have been ongoing for a week, with volunteers from the Community Rescue Service partnering with the PSNI to comb the surrounding vicinity around the clock, according to a report from Belfast Live.
The PSNI has been approached by Mirror for a statement regarding the incident.
