British Airways is offering flights to Madrid, Spain, and Toulon, France, for just £2 to help combat the winter blues. These low-cost flights are exclusive to members of The British Airways Club and can be booked with Avios points. Travelers departing from London City Airport can enjoy the sunny skies and scenic views of Madrid and Toulon for a bargain price.
Prices for these flights start from only £2 plus 21,500 Avios for Toulon and £2 plus 28,000 Avios for Madrid, with 23kg of checked baggage included. Toulon is a new addition to British Airways’ destinations, offering a chance to explore the charming French city and its renowned harbour. Madrid, on the other hand, remains a popular choice with its vibrant art scene and architectural wonders.
British Airways introduced Avios-Only flights in 2023 and has since operated 48 such flights to various destinations, including Cape Town, Barbados, and Marrakesh. The upcoming flight from Madrid to London will mark the airline’s 50th Avios-Only service. Colm Lacy, British Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, expressed excitement about providing customers with more travel opportunities through The British Airways Club.
Adam Daniels, IAG Loyalty’s CEO, highlighted the loyalty program’s impact on customer benefits and redemption opportunities, especially with the launch of flights to Toulon and Madrid. For more details or to book a seat, interested individuals can visit the British Airways website.
